Tasty Junk Food or Healthy Food?

Would you rather have unhealthy tasty food or healthy food? The former is preferable, everyone except vegetarians or someone trying to reduce weight would rather have Nutella, mayo, chocolate, chilled Coca-Cola, chicken wings, the options are endless. It’s way cheaper and easier to buy at a valuable price. There are so many food stalls that provide these junk foods, even uber eats, zomato have made it easier to order more without leaving the home, and discount offers are too many. Healthy food cannot taste as good as junk, not only are there expensive to buy, it’s very hard to follow a healthy routine and not trying to fall for junk however tasty that is. While you can buy a cheeseburger for just a few bucks, to buy one avocado is up to two dollars. There are so many various healthy foods like apples, avocado, oranges, meats, eggs, peanuts, grains, oats, breads, cheese, yogurt, dark chocolate and others.

As much as how tasty, available, convenient, delicious, cheap junk food are, having too much of them has a side effect. Taking too much sugar can destroy the pancreas, making it unable to provide insulin and glycogen, leading to diabetes, heart problems, cholesterol, and accumulation of fat could lead to obesity. Obesity would then lead to low self-esteem, looking lethargic. Junk food slows down the amount of hemoglobin in the body, eyesight is reduced which would lead to the use of glasses or contacts. Do know that healthy foods also provide side effects: the tomato fruit contains numerous lectins that can trigger digestive issues and metabolic rates if protein binds to the stomach walls.

Not all healthy food are that bad, it can also taste good if well seasoned with the right ingredients if cooked properly would be delicious. Strawberries, blueberries, pistachios, cherries, mangoes are healthy food, these fruits when eaten are delicious and satiate your taste buds. These are junk foods you should try to avoid, there are cakes; cakes contain high amount of fat and oil eating too much could cause diabetes over some time or obesity, there are French fries which have its own side effects, Pizza; the most popular snack, can be eaten anytime, provides energy with its high number of carbohydrates, avoid too much of this. Sugary drinks, drinks made from sugar when drunk, pass through the tract towards the intestine for digestion. Some do get stuck in the pancreas, later damaging it, leading to diabetes or a pancreas transplant.

Food isn’t just anything that is taken when hungry, it’s delicious, inspiring, and a mutual love for food can make a sad person happy. We can’t stop ourselves from eating junk foods, but we do need healthy foods to provide with valuable nutrients. Technically speaking, we need both. Having a little junk food when craving for it isn’t a crime, do remember to always add healthy vegetables or fruits, strawberries and cherries that can be used as dessert. This will create a great balance between being healthy and unhealthy, not relying on just one alone.
